Saint Valentine´s Day

Saint Valentine´s Day is on the 14th of February. It is about love. If you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend, you should give them a present and a card. The card is often anonymous. You can write poems such as:

 “Roses are red                                               

Violets are blue
Sugar is sweet
And so are you.”

Fifth short story competition

This week we are working hard because on the 26th January we are having the "fifth short story Competition."

Pupils from 1st to 4th grade, in the Bilingual Section, have to create a short story  (between 100 and 120 words) with the beginning the judges will give to us.

There are !st and 2nd prizes for each grade. The stories that win the competition will be published in our magazine!

It is so exciting for us. Good luck to everyone!

Visiting MUMI

MUMI

Last Friday, the 3A class went to the MUMI museum (Museo de la Minería y de la Industria). First, we spent some time in the museum to learn as much information as possible about the mining industry in Asturias. Later, we went into the mine in the museum. It was very dark and the tallest people had to bend their head. In spite of that, everybody had a wonderful time and enjoyed the visit very much.
